⚠️ Fraud Alert: Scam Calls Increasing in Western Massachusetts

We have been notified of an uptick in scam calls across Western Massachusetts involving fraudsters impersonating financial institutions in an attempt to gain access to member accounts. These callers may mask (spoof) their phone number to make it appear as though the call is coming from Alden Credit Union or another legitimate organization.

Alden Credit Union will NEVER call, text, or email you to ask for:

• Online banking username
• Password
• Verification codes
• Full debit or credit card number
• Any login credentials or sensitive account information

Do NOT provide ANY information to unsolicited callers. Refuse the call and hang up immediately.

Important: Fraudsters can mask outgoing calls to appear legitimate. However, when you hang up and call Alden Credit Union directly using the phone number listed on our official website, you will be reaching us securely.

If you receive a suspicious call:

• Refuse the call
• Hang up immediately
• Call Alden Credit Union directly at 413-536-0475
• Do NOT call back the number that contacted you
