Proposed Amendment to Article II, Section 1

The Massachusetts Division of Banks has approved a proposed amendment to Article II, Section 1 of the By-Laws of Alden Credit Union to expand the Credit Union’s field of membership. This amendment must be approved by a vote of the membership.

If approved by the membership, Article II, Section 1 of the By-Laws will read as follows:

Membership in this Credit Union is limited to:

a) Members who, at the time of initial application, reside, work, or attend school in the following communities:
Agawam, Blandford, Bondsville, Brimfield, Chester, Chicopee, East Longmeadow, Feeding Hills, Florence, Granville, Hampden, Holland, Holyoke, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Monson, Montgomery, Palmer, Russell, Southwick, Springfield, Thorndike, Three Rivers, Tolland, West Springfield, Westfield, Wilbraham, Amherst, Belchertown, Chesterfield, Cummington, Easthampton, Granby, Goshen, Hadley, Hatfield, Huntington, Middlefield, North Amherst, Northampton, Pelham, Plainfield, South Amherst, South Hadley, Southampton, Sunderland, Wales, Ware, Westhampton, Whately, Williamsburg, Worthington, Brookfield, West Brookfield, North Brookfield, East Brookfield, Leicester, Spencer, Warren, Worcester, and their immediate family members.

b) Employees of Window World of Western Massachusetts.

c) Employees of CyberProtect-IT, LLC.

d) Employees of Sibley Mechanical.

e) Immediate family members of the above-described persons. Immediate family members include husband, wife, domestic partner, son, stepson, daughter, stepdaughter, father, stepfather, mother, stepmother, brother, stepbrother, sister, and stepsister.

The membership will vote on this proposed amendment at the Annual Meeting of Alden Credit Union
